Princesses' Island Silver Needles
Princesses' Island Silver Needles white tea has been available for the imperial family only. Legend tells us that the infusion of the young Silver Needles fights the signs of aging of the skin.
Drinking this tea is an extraordinary experience, the light infusion provides a metallic sheen in the liquor. In the cup you will find a light and soft body, subtile aroma of freshly cut grass and bamboo, and a velvet mouth feeling.
Culinary this tea can be used to reset the palate, serve a small cup between the dishes to clean the taste buds.
The light taste and flavor make this an excellent tea to drink before breakfast and the low amount of caffeine makes it the perfect tea to drink in the evening.
Making this tea requires a different production proces than the white tea Pai Mu Tan. Before sunrise the most tender buds are selected from the best tea bushes. Processing the buds to Silver Needles requires all the expertise and patience from the tea master; for 1kg. of Princesses' Island Silver Needles 5kg. of buds is used.

To keep your tea fresh, always store it in a cool, dry, dark place and keep it tightly sealed. And to make sure you always have the best cup of tea, we recommend you follow these rules to enjoy your tea:
Tea and infusions with fruit and nuts: consume within 6 months from date of purchase.
Pure tea: consume within 12 months of purchase date.

They may seem to taste the same, but they lack depth and nuance. We want to be able to drink our tea with confidence and show and taste the beauty of nature, which is why you'll only find teas with natural ingredients here.
While we offer great unflavored teas, we sometimes create a blend that does contain flavorings. In fact, that’s why some of our favorite blends taste so good! Keep in mind that no matter how strong the flavor, the actual amount of flavorings in a brewed cup of tea is virtually zero — about 0.001%.

Most of our teas contain virtually no sugar, carbohydrates or calories.
