Care & First Use
Before using your teapot for the first time, we recommend preparing it as follows:
-
Fill the teapot with boiling water.
-
Let it sit for one minute, then pour out the water.
-
While the teapot is still warm, gently wipe the exterior with a dry cloth.
-
Repeat this process three to four times.
-
Allow the teapot to air-dry completely, inside and out, for approximately 30 minutes.
Ongoing Care
To maintain the quality and appearance of your teapot, follow these care guidelines:
-
After each use, rinse the teapot with hot water only—do not use detergents.
-
Dry the exterior while the teapot is still warm.
-
Never use abrasive sponges; clean only with a soft cloth.
-
Always let the inside of the teapot dry with the lid removed.
-
To prevent stains or rings, do not leave water or tea in the teapot for extended periods.
-
Before storing, ensure the teapot is completely dry inside and out. If possible, store the lid separately.
